We decided to get a dog after Mr. B died. We went to the pound but no luck. A few weeks later we decided to give the pound
another try. We looked at the puppies and there were two that were interesting. But raising a puppy! Then in walked Nikki,
who had been on adoption tour to Borders Books. No one wanted her and back she came to her cage.
The people at
the pound said she was abanoned and was going to be put down soon if no one adopted her. She is approximately 8 years old
and is a Blue Tick Coon Hound. Yes, there is such a breed, I checked on the internet. To my surprise there are lots of references
to Blue Ticks.
